Cellist Laura Usiskin, a graduate student at Yale School of Music and studying with the venerable Aldo Parisot, treated us to a selection from Johann Sebastian Bach's Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello.
Performing the entire cycle lasts about three hours, so she played her favorite movements from Suites 1 through 4 on an 18th century instrument, telling us it was appropriate light Sunday morning entertainment.
