Searching the Internet Archive to see what I could find of Cicero's writings, I discovered that Anthony Trollope (Wikipedia, handle with care) wrote a Life of Cicero in two volumes (Chapman and Hall, 1880):
Finding the time to browse through it is another thing . . .
It's in facsimile print available too: The Life of Cicero: Volume 1, The Life of Cicero: Volume 2. A listing of more works: Anthony Trollope.

PBS' Masterpiece Theatre in 1974 serialized the Palliser Novels (somehow, this page, supposedly linking to 'The Palliser Novels,' does not seem to be the right one but has some nice ancillary information about Trollope). I do remember the series well and even bought the novels. The Pallisers - The Complete Collection is available as DVD (but not cheap), and there is also The Anthony Trollope Collection (The Barchester Chronicles / He Knew He Was Right / The Way We Live Now).
